Our Underground Service Technician Role
This position is within the Service Crew, reporting to the Underground Mining Coordinator. This team supports underground operations across both production and development teams. This role would suit a practical, hands-on person who ideally has a strong mechanical aptitude.
The Service Crew is responsible for infrastructure installations, services upgrades and relocation, maintenance activities for roadways and ventilation systems plus timely consumable movements and delivery, all activities which are essential for the efficient operation of the mining operations.
The successful candidate will be employed on a permanent basis and will work on a 4/3, dayshift roster.
The successful applicant will possess the following essential criteria:
• Experience operating underground mining equipment
• Proven track record with safety and a strong work ethic
• Current manual drivers’ licence
• Ability to obtain a security licence (UHL)
